I built a device that displays flight data for airplanes passing overhead in real time.
Runs on a WiFi-enabled ESP32 microcontroller
Retrieves data from the OpenSky Network API every 30 seconds
Uses functions I wrote in Arduino to convert data into readable info for each flight
Info is displayed on an LED matrix display in a dynamic loop
All components are contained in a custom 3D-printed housing I designed in SolidWorks
